Business Development Manager - Rentals United

Salary Grade/level/family/range: compensation levels, groups or pay ranges into which jobs of the same or similar worth are placed, including minimum and maximum pay bands. Overtime performance.

Agreement: TBC

Position type and expected hours of work: full time, flexible timetable depending on the market and client’s needs. Occasionally overtime will be required due to events, important calls or meetings.

Reports to: Head of Sales
Supervisory responsibilities: direct reports -pending- and the level of supervision

Key Relationships: Internal: Marketing, Revenue, Product, Biz Support // External: Clients and Partners

Role purpose: The Business Development Manager will contact potential Property Managers and clients, presenting our platform & services and guiding them to adapt our solution to their business needs, converting potential leads into signing final contracts. This position will require a consultative approach and great profiling skills in order to build long-lasting relationships with our clients.


Key Responsibilities



Market research


●  Conduct market research to evaluate gaps, opportunities, and alien needs

●  Prospecting leads and contacting them to pitch the product/service

Deliver proposal


●  Setting up meetings with the prospective clients

●  Presenting product/service demonstrations

Relationship management


●  Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key clients

●  Assist with on-boarding new clients

●  Be the first point of contact to all clients in Mexico

●  Establish and maintain active and constructive

relationships with other teams in the organization

to achieve better results

●  Take feedback from customers and share it with

support teams

●  Help with support and customer service



● Negotiating contracts to arrive at the best deal for the client and organization both

Sales performance


●  Sales reporting and reviewing performance

●  Working towards achieving the sales target

Data management


●  Keep a record of the prospects and leads in our database

●  Work with different CRM systems and organize the daily records in order to keep the track of the full sales cycle



●  Seek new opportunities through networking, cold calling, and social media channels

●  Participate in conferences, exhibitions, and industry meet-ups for business development

●  Establishing new business links

Key Performance Indicators: Annual Recurring Revenue & Monthly Recurring Revenue (ARR and MRR)

Required education and experience:

●  Proficiency in Spanish

●  Proficiency in English

●  Prior sales experience

●  Knowledge of MS Office mainly for reporting and documentation

●  Deep understanding of negotiating techniques and marketing tactics

●  Faster learning ability and passion for sales

●  Good presentation skills

Preferred Education and experience:

    ●  Understanding of Vacation Rental Business, Property Management Software, Vacation Rental Sites, or Online Travel agencies

    ●  Knowledge of CRM or sales management software is an added advantage
